Estate Care
We maintain what we build — and homes built to the same standard.
A fine home is a working object: hundreds of components, dozens of finishes, and systems that reward attention and punish neglect. DRS Estate Care places your home under the same standing discipline we bring to building one — scheduled, protocol-driven care by the studio, with every component and finish on record.
How it works
1 — The evaluation. An evaluation of your home: systems, structure, millwork and finishes, documented room by room and presented to you in person.
2 — Your program. From the evaluation we write your home's own care protocol and propose an annual program — quarterly, seasonal, or pied-à-terre. No two are alike; no prices on a website, because no two homes deserve the same number.
3 — The care. Scheduled visits, confirmed two weeks ahead. A written Record of Service after every one. A member emergency line, day and night. And a registry that remembers your home's every filter, formula and finish — so the right part, the right stain, the right hands always arrive.
The programs
Full Estate — four seasonal visits, interior and exterior.
Seasonal — spring and fall, with a summer exterior inspection.
Pied-à-terre — twice-yearly interior care for condominiums and lock-and-leave homes.
CMHC guidance puts a home's annual maintenance at one to three percent of its value. The question is not whether that is spent — it is whether it is spent deliberately, by one accountable standard, or reactively, one emergency at a time.

For designers
Your client's home was finished to your standard — Estate Care keeps it there. We hold the finish schedule, service the millwork, and coordinate every trade, while you remain the designer of record. When something new is wanted, you hear it from us first.
For property managers
One number, one accountable standard, written records on every visit. Scheduled care for your best properties, priority response when something goes wrong, and documentation your owners and insurers actually want.
Questions
Do you publish prices? No. Every program is written from your home's evaluation. The proposal you receive is specific to your house, in writing, before anything begins.
Do you do the repairs too? Yes — that's the point. Care visits catch things small; repairs are proposed in writing at your member rate before any work proceeds. Licensed trades come from our vetted bench, coordinated by us.
We didn't build your home. Does that matter? No. The evaluation documents any well-built home; caring for craftsmanship is what we do all day.
What happens in an emergency? Members call one line, any hour. We arrive knowing your systems, because your home's registry is already in our hands.
What about when we travel? Scheduled absence checks, logged in the format your insurer requires.
