Built on our own bench.
We have a fully equipped millwork shop downtown, and most of what goes into our projects is made in it. Cabinetry, panelling, closets, banquettes, bars, wine rooms, and freestanding furniture.
Working from our own shop changes what we can say yes to. A curve, a compound angle, a flush ring pull mortised into a seat lid, a walnut top that has to look like one board — these are decisions we make at the bench rather than problems we hand to a supplier.
It also means the person who drew it is thirty feet from the person cutting it.
